The story
Two ones, side by side 👥
011 — the pair
Look at the number: 011 — two ones standing next to each other. A duo, written in digits. The first nine chairs closed the orchestra's first circle; the second circle opens with a pair — because after the root returns (Node 010), the very next thing music learns is harmony: a second voice that chooses to stand beside the first.
Her own words say it better than any number: singing as a ritual, a voice that stops being hers and becomes a bridge to everyone else. That is what an orchestra is.
One and one, side by side — not two. A duo. 🌙
The voice 🎙️
Clementine Esquivel — singer, percussionist, composer, producer and educator from Buenos Aires, more than a decade in both the professional circuit and the academic field (per the Infinite Garden Artist Cohort exhibition, where Dúo Dø's work was shown). On the duo's records her credit sings its whole rhythm section in one line: "Voz, palmas, percu y bombo — Clementine Esquivel" (from Todo Cambia ft. Hiroe Morikawa, recorded in Kobe, Japan) — voice, handclaps, percussion and the bombo, the deep Argentine drum.
One duo, two sovereign homes
Dúo Dø デュオ・ドー 🌙
Genre-free and in motion
Born in Buenos Aires, 2015 — in their words, more than a band: "un espacio de experimentación constante entre dos compañeros de vida" — a constant experiment between two companions in life (their words, from duodomusica.com). Argentine roots in dialogue with Japan: Todo Cambia with koto master Hiroe Morikawa, the lo-fi samurai single Torii, and now a life lived on the road between the two worlds. Releases include Yama (ft. Dig.Dug, 2026), Piano Works 1 (EP, 2025) and Nostalgia (2025).
Japan Tour 2026: September 19 → December 15 — 15 confirmed shows across Tokyo, Kobuchizawa, Kesennuma, Kawamata (Cosquín Japón), Osaka and Kyoto, plus a masterclass at the Osaka College of Music.
The Ethereum thread 🌺
Devconnect Buenos Aires → SongCamp Latam → Kismet Casa, Rome → the Infinite Garden
In 2025 Dúo Dø was invited to lead the SongCamp Challenge Latam — three artists, one week, one question: what is Latin American identity? The EP was presented on The Creator Economy stage during Devconnect Argentina (their own site's telling — the same Devconnect Buenos Aires where the orchestra's Music Space lived at La Rural, Nov 2025).
In 2026 they were artists-in-residence at Kismet Casa during FarCon Rome, and the residency became a film: Mi Amor Por Ti (ft. Matt Lee) — "some songs are written; ours was lived within a community." In its final credits, among the Executive Producers who made it real, one name the orchestra knows well: Shaka 🌺 (verified in the film's published credits). Their work has also been shown with the Infinite Garden Artist Cohort — the Ethereum Foundation's own garden of artists.
Kindred movement 🇦🇷🌐
The Argentina Dúo Dø comes from is also home to MUSICA W3 — an international community of 150+ independent web3 artists and 2k+ collectors, born from Argentina, whose free education program is literally titled "Hacia la Soberanía de los Creadores Onchain" — toward the sovereignty of onchain creators. That is the orchestra's node gospel, sung in Spanish. Same song, kindred circle: Node 013 · MUSICA W3 — the orchestra's first collective chair.
