Amerge × Subcult

Nov 4 · 12:40p · 1h min · Devcon 8 Music Space, Mumbai
DRAFT rider. Built 27 Oct 2026 from the artist’s own words where they wrote to us, and from their application form where they have not yet. Never a guessed connector — where we don’t know, the page asks.

🗓️ Who / when

SetTue 4 Nov · 12:40p (IST) · 1 hour
Who's playingA collective — three communities: The Park + Amerge Music Co-op + Subcult. Group of people, not a solo act.
ShapeReal-time song creation on the floor → a panel conversation → a release → shared co-ownership of the song. The most OSO-shaped hour of the week — but also the most complicated to patch, and we don't know how many humans are in it.

🎒 They bring

What they asked us for: PA · a 10+ channel mixing board · 2 × floor wedge · 2 × basic microphones · an audio interface if possible.

They have not answered the 26 Oct tech email.

🔌 They plug into — connector by connector

We cannot finish this table without three answers: how many people, which instruments, which interface.

Channels on the board: 4 known (2 mics + interface L/R) — realistically 6+ once the panel and the instruments are counted. The biggest single act of Nov 4.

🏠 House provides (what Amogh listed, 26 Oct)

❓ Still missing / open

  1. 🚨 How many people are performing, and does the panel need its own mics? A song-creation hour plus a panel discussion could easily want 4–6 mics, not 2. Ask them for a headcount.
  2. 🚨 Which small instruments? Each one is a channel and a connector we can't guess. (A shaker needs nothing; a cajon needs an SM57; a keyboard needs 2 DI inputs.)
  3. Which audio interface, and what its main outputs are (¼" / RCA / XLR).
  4. 2 floor wedges — they asked by name. No monitors confirmed on the house list.
  5. A 10+ channel board — they asked by name. We still don't know the house channel count.
  6. A table for the interface + laptop, and power.
  7. The release + co-ownership part is a rights conversation, not a cable one — flag it to Shaka (see below).
  8. No 3-line tech reply.

🗺️ Stage plot

(the one place we say "stage" — it's the technical word. Everywhere else: the floor, the circle.)

📣 One line for Amogh

Amerge × Subcult, Nov 4 12:40p, 1h: a group, not a solo — 2 SM58s + 2 line inputs for their interface + 2 wedges + a table, and probably more mics for the panel. We're asking them for a headcount and an instrument list; plan for 6 channels until they answer.

🎛️ Status

Drafted from their application words — not confirmed by the artist

The act with the most unknowns per minute of set time. Three questions (headcount, instruments, interface) turn this from a guess into a rider.
