Aniket Gundewar

Nov 3 · 1:10p · 1h min · Devcon 8 Music Space, Mumbai
DRAFT rider. Built 27 Oct 2026 from the artist’s own words where they wrote to us, and from their application form where they have not yet. Never a guessed connector — where we don’t know, the page asks.

🗓️ Who / when

SetMon 3 Nov · 1:10p (IST) · 1 hour
Who's playingDuo — Aniket on electric guitar (Indian classical, gayaki ang — the guitar sings like a voice) + his tabla player Dhaivat. A jugalbandi.
Flag🎊 Opening-ceremony confirmed act · featured local musician (Shaka, 15 Oct). The longest curated set on day one.

🎒 They bring

He is the most technically specific artist on the floor. He wrote his needs twice, in detail. Take him at his word.

🔌 They plug into — connector by connector

#WhatOut of his sideInto the floorBoard
1–2Guitar processortwo ¼" jack outs (L + R)1 × stereo DI box → 2 × XLR2 ch
3–4iPad — tanpura drone3.5 mm stereo headphone out3.5 mm → dual ¼" cable, then 1 × stereo DI box → 2 × XLR2 ch
5Tablaacoustica condenser mic in front of the tabla (he asked for "1 high-quality condenser"). An SM57 will make a sound; a condenser will make it music.1 ch

Plain words: a DI box takes an instrument's unbalanced ¼" signal and turns it into a balanced XLR one, so it can run a long cable to the board without losing level or picking up buzz. A stereo DI is simply two of those in one box, for an L+R pair.

Channels on the board: 5 — guitar L/R, iPad L/R, tabla. (The most channels any single artist needs on Nov 3.)

🏠 House provides (what Amogh listed, 26 Oct)

❓ Still missing / open

  1. 🚨 2 × stereo DI boxes (he named Radial). Not on the house list. Without them there is no clean way to get his processor and his iPad into the board.
  2. 🚨 A condenser mic for the tabla. The house list says SM57 / SM58 + ambient mics — is there a condenser in the room? If the ambient mics are condensers, can one be re-pointed at the tabla?
  3. 🚨 3 monitor wedges on 2 mixes — he asked for 2 wedges for the duo plus 1 dedicated personal wedge for his guitar. No monitors are confirmed on the house list at all.
  4. A surge-protected power strip at his position (guitar processor + iPad charger).
  5. A 3.5 mm → dual ¼" cable. We have asked him to pack this plus a power strip as his own backup — the safest version of this rider is the one where he brings the small cables himself.
  6. Seating — a gayaki-ang guitar set and a tabla are played seated on the floor. Rugs/cushions, not chairs, and the mics have to come down to that height.

🗺️ Stage plot

(the one place we say "stage" — it's the technical word. Everywhere else: the floor, the circle.)

📣 One line for Amogh

Aniket, Nov 3 1:10p, 1h, duo: 5 channels · 2 stereo DI boxes · 1 condenser for tabla · 3 wedges on 2 mixes · 1 power strip · floor seating. He brings guitar, processor, iPad and his tabla player. This is the opening-ceremony act — if one thing on the floor gets the full kit, it's this one.

🎛️ Status

Confirmed by the artist (email 27 Oct 02:22 + his application) — house side unconfirmed

His bring/connect lines are his own words, twice over. What is NOT confirmed is whether the floor can supply the DI boxes, the condenser and the three wedges. That's Amogh's answer, not Aniket's.
